Beautiful westie on the beach

I live in Quebec a wonderfull province from Canada, Québec is such a strange place is warm and dfferent from the rest of Canada. In Québec there is a wonderfull place called Charlevoix, it's just magical. You have sand but cold water and lots of sun. We are at Cap-à-l'aigle I can translate at The eagle's cliff. At Cap-à-l'aigle there is a beach! Here is Balthazar sitted in the seaweed. We spend the day walking on the sand and taking pictures. It's me... hehehe, today I decided to make me look like in the 50's and I really liked it, they call it Pin Up look I guess! I will do some research in the 50's jewels and maybe do something!
I had a great day today, I did not created any necklace, I spend the day enjoing the sun because it was Sunday!

BOW ADDICTION

It's been a little since I came to my blog. It was simply because I was crafting bows! Yes and i love it! Despite the fact that is very complicated doing very small bows well, I like the results!


I've been quite busy, Ok I've been keeping myself busy! Summer vacations are sometimes too short and sometimes too long... I finaly found the right balance!

Answer to some questions!

HI!
I received some questions from people who like my art and wanted me to explain the name that I use. My name is Loly (short way for Lolyta) and Quetzal is not my last name either my middle name. Im mexican and I tought that having a mexican name will be representative of who I am. Xochiquetzal is an aztec  Godess for art and artists, she has a lot of roles but that is the one that inspired me. Second, a Quetzal is a magnificient bird from Guatemala, that the aztecs consedered as sacred. Also I've been intrested in art since im young. I just love to create stuff when I see something pretty I think it will be a challenge if I can do it too and if I can't well I just admire the person who did it and try something else!

Penny Jewelry and strawberry necklace

I created a strawberry bracelet that became my sister's dog Frida necklace. She is such a professionnal model! I made it with polymer clay. Never tried that material before but i just love it! It's like playing with modeling paste like a child!

I am working a lot right now on something new that came to my mind when I was procrastinating again... I love working with copper. It's sunday, and I will go visit my parents with Balthazar (my westie)... He will play all day in the garden. :)
